  • Orlando Zegarra García, born on February 8, 1956, in Magdalena del Mar, Lima, Peru, is a distinguished graduate of the National Superior Autonomous School of Fine Arts of Peru. His academic journey in the arts spanned from 1974 to 1981, culminating with an Honorable Mention in the Sabino Springett promotion.

    García's artistic career is marked by significant participation in prominent international exhibitions. He showcased his work at the I Miami Biennial in 1986, an event that highlights the talents of artists from around the globe. In 1989, he was featured in the IX Biennial of Valparaíso, further establishing his presence in the art world.

    Additionally, García has been an active participant in Peruvian art exhibitions, such as the I OCHESLE LIMA-PERU Biennial in 1988 and the I Ecological Biennial, BINARTECO - COP 20, in 2014. These exhibitions have been vital platforms for presenting his work, reflecting his commitment to artistic expression and engagement with environmental themes.
